NAMI Walks is coming up on October 5, 2024 at Fremont Central Park, 40000 Paseo Padre Pkwy, Fremont, CA 94538 starting at 8:00 AM. Our goal is to reach $50,000. This is NAMI Alameda County South's largest source on funding and helps ensure the continuation of our programs and outreach.
NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the largest education, support and advocacy organization that serves the needs of all whose lives are touched by these illnesses. This includes persons with mental illness, their families, friends, employers, the law enforcement community and policy makers. The NAMI organization is composed of approximately 1200 local affiliates, 50 state offices and a national office.
NAMI Alameda County South is a 501(c)3 charity and any donation you make to support our participation in this event is tax deductible. If you would like to support us in this endeavor, please . Remember - Parking is extremely limited. If you are coming by yourself or a small group, you may want to consider public transit.
Public Tranist
BART starts running on Saturday at 6:00 AM, making it a viable option to driving. You can use the Trip Planner from 511.org to create a custom itinerary that you can print out.
What's happening in NAMI Alameda County South?
